Where can I find a family court motion form?
The motion that I want is not available. Is there a basic or generic family court motion form?

The Minnesota Judicial Branch does not publish motion forms for every family court situation. You may need to create your own, using other motions as a guide and editing them to fit your situation.
However, the court does publish a generic motion packet for family court. The packet instructions explain that a motion is a way to ask the family court to do something in a case that is already open. Along with every motion, you also need an affidavit, where you state why the court should give you what you have asked for. Please read the packet instructions for more information.
